Our Story · Bernhard Meat Market, Kerrville TXIn the Hill Country
since 1952.

Bernhard Meat Market opened in Ingram, Texas in 1952. Families from Ingram and Kerrville have been buying meat and bringing in deer ever since.

Milton Bernhard sold the business to its current owner in 1995. In 2005 we moved into a new building at 2920 Junction Highway, just east of Ingram, with a new processing room and a bigger retail market.

We're still family owned. The counter carries choice-graded beef, fresh chicken, sausage, jerky, and cheeses. In the back, we process deer, elk, buffalo, wild hogs, and domestic beef, hogs, lamb, and goats. We work hard at customer service, so stop by and see for yourself.
